PREPAID
REMITTANCE
Our Prepaid Remittance product provides a novel way
to introduce money remittance utilizing existing
point-of-sale (POSA) networks. For the
consumer, it offers speed, convenience, and privacy
when sending funds internationally in three easy
steps:Step 1 - A consumer purchases a
Prepaid Remittance PIN in any denomination up to
$1,000. The retail clerk processes the request
through their existing POSA processor and provides
the consumer with a receipt showing a unique PIN
number and a 1-800 number.
Step 2 - The consumer calls the 1-800
number from the privacy of their own home or
cellular phone. The operator gathers the
required information to complete the remittance and
provides the consumer with a claim code.
Step 3 - The beneficiary receiving the
funds provides the claim code and ID at the
designated pickup location to claim their funds.
Our Prepaid Remittance product utilizes a vast
network of locations where money can be remitted
including:
- “Window Pickup” of funds in over 18,000 locations
across 17 countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil,
Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador,
Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama,
Peru, Philippines, Dominicana, Uruguay and Vietnam)
- Home Delivery of funds in Mexico, Guatemala and
Vietnam
- Direct deposit into bank accounts worldwide
SCN's Prepaid Remittance service uses our proprietary software
platform that guarantees speed and accuracy during
data entry, identifies optimal routing and pricing,
and insures federal and state compliance (OFAC and
BSA).
